Prior to running SuperDuper, I had completed a software update to one of my Mojave apps that finished without error. Reinstalling the OS to the source should resolve it. The source drive here has an invalid attribute that was written by what is typically a failed update or install. The response that I received from Shirt Pocket support was brief: Checking the SuperDuper log, I noticed a message that a particular file had an invalid attribute that could not be copied. I contacted Shirt Pocket, the developer of SuperDuper, whose support technician provided the easy fix.Īs a point of reference, the cloning process abruptly stopped after SuperDuper had copied almost all of my Mojave files onto my target drive. Prepping for the fall rollout of macOS Catalina, I unsuccessfully attempted a SuperDuper 3.2.5 clone of my Mojave 10.14 configuration.
